So it has been a while since I wrote a blog, I really wanted the last one to be read. I feel strongly about it.
So anyway, I am in week four of my seminary career and I love it very much thank you. Greek is...well Greek. It is really hard, but it is so valuable to understanding the Bible. All of the other classes are going well I think. It is not so much what you get out of the lecture in the those classes, your success, or how much you get out of the class is based upon the work you put in outside of the class room. Seeing as I studied only during finals week all through college, it is a big shock to my system to be carving out time to study all throughout the week. Well that is enough of that...
Suz and I have had a pretty big honor bestowed upon us. There is a leadership conference coming up the first weekend in October. Leading the conference is Leith Anderson, from Minnesota, who just happens to be one of the best in the Christian community in terms of church leadership. It is a two day conference which will cost you $85 a head to attended. This isn't for seminary students, it is mostly advertised to local churches, so they can have their pastors attend. Well, since the conference is being put on by Denver Seminary the board thought they would ask one student to speak at the conference. They asked myself and Suzanne to speak for ten minutes on the second day of the conference! We are honored and very unsure of how we will fit all of what they are asking us to talk on, into a ten minute talk! The best part of this all, is the fact that we get to attend the entire conference for free! Please pray for us in this, I love speaking but I am not exactly sure what to say to motivate a room full of people that I aspire to be like. And while you are praying keep praying for Suz's job situation...
One final thing, I don't know how much you are all into politics. I was into them a lot more before I moved, but now I am mostly into Suz, football and homework. I just kind of always assumed that Christians would vote for Bush. I am so surprised by all of the negative vibes I am getting from the people on the seminary campus in regard to Bush. Don't get me wrong it is not campus wide, and there are plenty of people who like Him, but I have one prof who just flat out doesn't like Bush and isn't afraid to share it. Either way it came as a shock to meet people that are Christians that think he is the worst. Either way, I really like and I am still voting for him...
(I think I am going to add the weather report for Denver and a few of my favorites to each of my blogs from now on...)
Well it is 38 degrees here today, but it is supposed to by 60 and sunny tomorrow...

Tim, will your speech be recorded? I'd love to hear it! Congrats on the opportunity! Did you ever know Geoff Bohleen? He works at Anderson's Church. I'm going to an outreach conference in Nov. where Geoff is speaking.
Small world. Anyway.
Have you checked out Haloscan for reformatting your comments? It's pretty cool, and not as cumbersome. AND it allows anonymous comments. I like it and use it, so if you're interested check out Musings to see it in action.
